Chelsea and Ryan get married at Aldie Mansion in Doylestown, Pennsylvania

Chelsea and Ryan picked a gorgeous site for their wedding; Aldie Mansion, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. I really enjoyed photographing them, they were into trying new things and full of energy and smiles and had so many great background choices. This carried over into their reception where there was lots of dancing and a few crazy moves, including human bowling and grizzly growls!

Erin and Bill’s wedding at Brandywine Battlefield

Erin and Bill’s ceremony was held at Brandywine Battlefield and then they celebrated at the Brandywine Picnic Area. They had to move the ceremony inside because of rain, but that just made it more intimate, and more fitting for a member of the calvary to get married in George Washington’s headquarters at the battlefield. Being inside also made the ceremony more intimate and heartwarming, everybody was in tears, including me, as the couple said their vows.

After the ceremony, the rain stopped, they dressed down, and then moved to the picnic area to celebrate with champagne, bbq, and picnic games.

Dat and Miranda’s Philadelphia Wedding

Dat and Miranda held a small ceremony at their house, which included their dog! I love small ceremonies because they are more relaxed and intimate, really allowing the personalities and love to show (and pets to attend). It also gave Dat and Miranda some breathing room before their huge reception in China Town at Joy Tsin Lau.

At their reception, I enjoyed traditional table toasts where Dat and Miranda greeted each table, and the karaoke!

I also appreciated Dat and Miranda’s hospitality and the food (fried duck)!

Jillian and Louis’s New Jersey Wedding

Jillian and Louis held their ceremony at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Camden, and then celebrated at the Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees, New Jersey. I really like their ceremony, it was very heart warming, with smiles and celebration, but also really focused on the importance and sacredness of the ceremony. After the ceremony we traveled to the Mansion to celebrate, they had great hors d’ouvres and drinks for the bridal party as soon they arrived and a great cocktail hour on the patio. I loved the asian theme throughout the day, from the dress accents on the bridal party, to the party favors, flowers, and DJ’s lights (and DJ Dollar Bill was excellent, guiding the party and getting everyone out to party).

Debbie and Matthew, One Night Only in Richmond

Debbie and Matthew held a traditional ceremony at St Benedict’s, followed by a quick trip to the National (a big music venue in RVA), where they were on the marquee! They held their reception at the downtown Marriott, where Debbie was usually on the other end coordinating other’s weddings. I loved their decorations, especially the bar, the joy from all their guests and the Marriott employees/co-workers, and some great faces from Matt and friends. (you may also notice that I am a year behind in posting weddings, but I am catching up!)
