New Food Photography

There is a lot going on at GSP, including two new food projects which I hinted at in my previous post. One project, food experiments, has its own mini-site with stills and video that is now live. A sampling of the other project is below, all shot with a Holga on black and white film. (both projects are works in progress, with more images to come).

I love the new wing of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, especially the 21st century gallery. I also like just going there to have some tea or a meal at Best Cafe or Amuse. I find it very relaxing and inspiring. Here are some photos I took while wandering the grounds.

Just wanted to share an outtake from VASADP, a documentary on local and sustainable food. This image was taken with a Mamiya 645 on Fujicolor Pro 400 film F11 @250. Most of the project was shot digitally.
