GSP moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in August 2011, but still spends time in Richmond photographing for clients and promoting Groundwork.
About Gordon
I grew up in New York, went to high school in New Hampshire, college in Virginia, and now I work out of Philadelphia, Pa. and Richmond, Va.
I approach photography as philosophy. I create and document experience so that I can understand the world more completely.
I like solving puzzles, thinking, looking, going new places, drinking tea and eating good food.
I am inspired every time I look at work from:
El Greco, Paul Gauguin, Pablo Picasso, Raymond Meaks, Ralph Eugene Meatyard, Alexei Titarenko, Raymond Meeks, Keith Carter, Jo Ann Walters, Amy Stein, Sally Mann, the Starn twins and William Eggleston.
